By using Anntique you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What Anntique is
Anntique identifies an object from your photographs, searches marketplaces for comparable items, and estimates a likely price range from what it finds. Every estimate is shown with its evidence, its sources, and the time they were retrieved.
Anntique is not an appraisal. It is an automated estimate based on photographs and on listings that are currently offered for sale. It is not a professional valuation, not an authentication, and not a guarantee of authenticity, condition, or resale value. Do not rely on it alone for a purchase, a sale, an insurance claim, or any other financial decision. Condition, provenance, and details that a photograph cannot show can change an item's value substantially.
Scans, subscription and packs
One scan identifies one object. Scans are supplied as follows:

A scan is charged only once its result is ready. If a scan fails, or the connection drops before a result is produced, no scan is used, and a follow-up photo requested for the same object does not use another scan. Prices shown here are the United States prices; the price in your country is shown in the app before you buy.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in Settings on your device, under your Apple Account, and also from the Settings screen inside Anntique. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period already paid for.
- If you take the free week and cancel before it ends, you are not charged. Any unused part of a free period is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
- Scan packs are one-time purchases and are not refundable through us. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. If Apple refunds a pack or a subscription period, the scans from that purchase that have not been used yet are removed.
Restoring purchases
Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, not to a device. "Restore purchases" in the app brings them back after reinstalling or on another device signed in to the same Apple Account.
Using the app fairly
Please do not attempt to bypass scan limits, tamper with the app, or use it to submit content you have no right to submit. We may suspend access to the service if it is being abused, and we may change or discontinue features.
Your content
You keep every right you already have in the photographs you submit. You grant us only the permission needed to process them for you — that is, to transmit and analyse them in order to return a result. Photographs are not retained on our server after the request, and are not used to train models. See the Privacy Policy.
Marketplace listings
Comparable items and prices come from marketplace listings retrieved at the moment of the search, and are attributed to their source. Those listings belong to their sellers and marketplaces, and can change or disappear at any time. We do not control them and do not vouch for them.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on an identification or a price estimate.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, the effective date above will change and the updated terms will be published here before the change takes effect.
